My passion for photography started at the age of five with a Kodak 126 Instamatic camera. I learned very quickly that I could capture a moment in time and keep it forever as a print. I captured my family, pets and events from my perspective. This was magic to me, capturing a moment in time, preserved on paper so I could look at it when ever I wanted. At the age of 18 I shot my first commercial assignment and realized supporting myself with a camera was what I wanted to do. For over thirty years I have traveled around the world creating photography for corporations, annual reports, products, events, IndyCar, NFL football, celebrities, even underwater. My passion has brought me full circle to photographing families, individuals, weddings and other milestone moments for people to cherish and hold on to for generations.
Photographing families, not just the family portrait but their lives and milestones make the most cherished prints and albums. Having digital images you can look at and show friends is convenient but holding a print in your hands or a fine, heirloom bound album of memories is what I do for people.
